Outram Community Hospital (OCH)

OCH is a public community hospital linked to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) located at Hospital Blvd. OCH is also one of the three community hospitals under the purview of SingHealth Community Hospitals.

CFD studies was conducted for the air flow discharge of the High Plume Ventilation Fan (HPVF) System and the Cooling Towers to assess the recirculation of pollutants/heat discharged to the neighboring buildings.

Robust and innovative engineered smoke control system was also designed and built for the multiple basement levels.

Changi General Hospital (CGH)

Changi General Hospital (CGH) located in Simei, is Singapore’s first purpose-built general hospital serving the communities in the east and north-east regions of Singapore.

The hospital is revamping its facilities by expanding and renovating its premises to suit the community’s needs and demand.

Fire regularization audit with performance-based feasibility studies were carried out for the remodelling of the existing hospital.

Kwong Wai Shiu Nursing Home

Kwong Wai Shiu Nursing Home located at Serangoon Road, Singapore, is a redeveloped 12-storey nursing home with more than 600 beds.

Fire safety engineering assessment had concluded that the open sided ventilation openings were effective to maintain tenable conditions in the corridors for the safe evacuation of the occupants in the event of a fire.

Health Sciences Authority (HSA)

HSA Building located at Jalan Bukit Merah, is a 13- storey building with laboratories and offices. HSA is a multi-disciplinary agency which generally applies scientific expertise in the medical field to protect and advance public health and safety.

Alternative design approaches were developed to address the extended discharge distance for occupants at grade level.

Tampines Care Home

Tampines Care Home is a nursing home that offers 300 beds and a senior care centre. Besides nursing care, the facility also provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical care and dietary services.

Occupants’ thermal comfort analysis was conducted using CFD studies to simulate the natural ventilation air flow for the development with prevailing wind conditions.
